Indy Wijngaards is a PhD candidate at the Erasmus Happiness Economics Research Organisation. Drawing upon an academic background in HR management, quality of life studies, and data science, he conducts research on the measurement of employee well-being, the drivers of employee well-being, and the impact of COVID-19 on subjective well-being. He gained practical experience with administering employee well-being surveys and delivering well-being interventions in his role as HR researcher within Ahold Delhaize’s HR team.
