Analis spent five years leading a team of resume writers and career strategists, helping others land their dream jobs. Then she was laid off just months after returning from maternity leave. What began as an unexpected setback became an opportunity.
Her background in career services, recruitment, and operations sparked her interest in the connection between people and business outcomes. Now she had the chance to build something entirely her own: Aligned Solutions & Co., a consultancy helping organizations align people, strategy, and culture.
Building credibility from scratch
Analis faced a frustrating gap. She wanted to step into strategic HR work, but didn’t have a formal background or credentials that clients expected.
She knew she needed a stronger foundation and credibility for her consultancy service. Even with a master’s degree in human resource management, she needed a practical framework to engage in strategic conversations with executives.
Through a ChatGPT conversation about career certifications, Analis discovered AIHR’s HR Business Partner 2.0 Program. It stood out immediately with its modern, strategic approach that focused on partnering with leaders rather than “write-ups and payroll,” as she puts it. The program covered exactly what she needed: frameworks to work strategically with leaders and connect people and business goals.
Stepping up with AIHR
Analis completed the entire program within 3 weeks. She was drawn to the Tell-Show-Do-Apply methodology, which offered clear frameworks and real-world projects. Her study schedule? Evenings with headphones on while rocking her baby to sleep, replaying lessons during car rides, and screenshotting frameworks to review later.
“I treated it like a client project,” she says. “I blocked the time and showed up for it.” The self-paced, flexible learning method made it doable while managing two young children and building a business from the ground up.
Learning on her own terms
The HR Business Partner 2.0 Certification Program equipped Analis with more than knowledge. She acquired the strategic HR skills to manage complex, cross-functional projects, along with frameworks that she could apply immediately. And she put it to the test right away!
One client struggled for over three months to implement a new online workspace that combined a CRM system, team collaboration tools, and an HRIS, leading to a disorganized onboarding process, disengaged managers, and high employee turnover. Analis stepped in with a six-week transformation plan.
She applied change management principles to execute a clear action plan for the CRM rollout. Using the 4-phase framework from her HRBP certification, she created SOPs, built an onboarding process, and established KPIs tying everything to measurable outcomes. By engaging stakeholders and aligning leadership with HR, she ensured shared ownership of business goals and trained managers to take responsibility for their teams.
The results spoke for themselves: the CRM system was fully implemented with defined structures and transparent goals. Turnover dropped, and the company finally had what it needed to scale. “That framework was everything,” Analis says. “It gave me the structure and credibility to feel confident leading that project.”
Building with data, not intuition
The program fundamentally changed how Analis works. She began grounding her work in data: tracking time-to-hire, retention, overtime costs, and even time-to-invoice for multiple clients.
“Before AIHR, I really just relied on intuition,” she says. “But after AIHR, I started measuring everything. Without understanding the data, you can’t move the needle.”
The AIHR Resource Library also became an essential tool. When launching an Employee Journey Audit for a client, she used templates from the library. “I didn’t have to start from scratch; it was so much faster!” she says. “Whenever I see a relevant resource added to the library, I’ll download, learn it, and explore if it can be a part of our consultancy solutions.”
A new professional identity
AIHR didn’t just add skills; it also gave her the credibility to redefine her professional identity. Today, she confidently leads executive-level conversations, connecting CEO and CFO priorities to people strategies.
“It’s not just solving today’s problem,” she explains. “It’s building systems that prevent tomorrow’s crisis.”
Recently, she showcased Aligned Solutions at an Entrepreneurial Fest–a proud milestone that reflected how far she’d come to be confident, data-driven, and future-ready.

What’s next
Looking back, Analis describes AIHR as more than just a certificate program.
“If you’re serious about HR and want to make a real impact, AIHR is the way to go,” she says. “It’s a toolkit, a network, and a mindset shift–from operational to strategic, from reactive to proactive.”
And Analis isn’t done learning. She’s already planning her next courses with AIHR. She has her eye on the AI Strategy for HR Leaders mini-course, the People Analytics Certificate Program, and the Organizational Development Certificate Program to improve her skills and become even more data-driven as she scales her consultancy.
