As an HR Metrics and Reporting Specialist, you will have a unique set of skills to turn data into visually intuitive reports and fuel the decision-making at your organization. Throughout this program, you will be working on real-world projects using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to learn practical skills that you can apply immediately in your day-to-day work.

Learn to apply the basics of strategic workforce planning (SWP) and build reports on succession and scenario planning.

Strategic HR Metrics
Data-driven HR starts by defining and implementing the right HR metrics. Metrics help determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce and the HR department itself. The Strategic HR Metrics modules teach you to determine which metrics are relevant to your strategic business goals and how to measure and implement these successfully.
HR Data Analyst
The HR Data Analyst modules are specifically designed for those people that have little or no experience in processing and analyzing large datasets. You will gain hands-on experience analyzing HR data related to topics such as absenteeism and turnover. At the end of the program, you will have built your own custom dashboard in Power BI.

Erik van Vulpen
People Analytics Leader & Data Geek
Erik van Vulpen is an expert in connecting HR processes to business results through qualitative and quantitative methods. He is globally recognized as a thought leader in the People Analytics and Digital HR space. Erik is a regular speaker at conferences and trained dozens of HR leadership teams to embed innovative and data-driven HR practices in their organization.
Rene Klep has gained in-depth experience in several international businesses as senior HR manager in companies like Belden, Stork, and Philips. He’s a well-known expert in the field of HR metrics, HR analytics, and strategic workforce planning. Currently, he is working as a lecturer and curriculum developer in Human Resource Management at Avans University of Applied Sciences.
Data-driven HR Leader
Mark has a proven track record in the field of HR and Learning & Development. With a background in Management Consultancy, he was part of IBM’s ‘Top Talent’ community. He served as an advisor for numerous professional HR research bodies and is regularly called upon to speak at conferences on topics such as HR analytics and data visualization. He currently works as the Global Head of People Analytics at GSK.

David Creelman is best known for his extensive research & writing on the most important areas of human capital. He won numerous awards, such as the best book award for his book “Management Reset” and the Walker Award for his research on Boards & HR. He is the CEO of Creelman Research, which can count among its clients think tanks, consultants, academics and organizations from around the world.
When can I enroll?
This training program is a one-off limited-time offer. Enrollment closes on February the 14th at midnight (PST).
Is there a fixed schedule?
No. This program is online and self-paced.
There’s just one deadline: to become certified, you will need to complete the capstone project within 12 months.
In total, you will need to invest approximately 30 hours to finish the program within 12 months. But it’s up to you, when you learn and how much time you spend each week or month.
Can I change the starting date?
No. But no worries if you don’t have the time to get started right away. This program is self-paced so you can just start whenever you’re ready. In total, you will have 12 months access to the lessons and course materials.
What software do I need?
Throughout this course, you will work with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI. Microsoft Excel is part of the Microsoft Office suite and available for both Windows and Mac.
Power BI is Microsoft’s data-visualization software. For this course, you will need to download and install the FREE desktop version of Power BI. Your instructor will show you how to download and install Power BI.
You can use Power BI on all Window computers. While it is not possible to install it on a Mac, it is available on all tablets and smartphones (including Apple devices).
Are there any pre-requisites?
No. This course is specifically designed for HR Professionals without any technical background.
