What is STAP?
The STAP budget is an initiative by the Dutch government, intended for employees and job seekers who want to improve their chances on the labor market. People eligible for STAP funding can apply to receive up to €1,000 in funding towards further training and development. This means that you can fully fund your AIHR Certificate Program using STAP.
Can I use the STAP budget?
You can apply for the STAP budget if you:
- Can demonstrate ties with the Dutch labor market
- Cannot apply for other forms of financing for education
- Have not applied for the STAP Budget in the current calendar year
- Are over 18 years of age
- Do not currently receive old age pension (AOW)
- Are (the partner of) an EU national
- Are covered by Dutch social security
How to enroll at AIHR using the STAP budget
1: Choose your training
Several of our online HR Certificate Programs can be fully funded using the STAP budget. Click here to browse the available programs.
2: Register for funding via AIHR
Fill out a short form to start the application process. You will receive a confirmation document from AIHR, which you will need in order to submit your funding request. We will also send you a reminder to claim your funding when the next round is available.
Please note: The first round of funding was claimed within 3 days. Make sure to reserve some time in your calendar when the next round of funding is available! The next round opens on November 1, 2022 at 10 a.m.
3: Submit your STAP budget application using DigiD
You can finalize your funding request by logging into the STAP portal using your DigiD.
Make sure that you have a DigiD set up before the next round of funding opens so you don’t miss out.
4: Start learning
All remaining admin will be taken care of on our side. Once your application is approved, we’ll send you an invite to our platform so you can start working on your chosen Certificate Program and future-proof your HR career!
