2019 was great. 2020 will be awesome!

As we are approaching the festive season, I wanted to take a moment to wish you happy holidays, an amazing New Year, and to thank you for being a loyal member of our audience!

Without you, and our other subscribers, customers, partners, and colleagues, AIHR would not exist.

Our promise to you is that we will always provide you with the latest HR training and tools to help you develop the most in-demand practical skills, essential for a bright future and a blooming career in HR.

Since the end of the year is typically a time for reflection, I took a look at 2019 to see how we’ve lived up to this promise.

So stay with me for a couple more lines, and I’ll even give you a sneak peek of what you can expect for 2020.

The 2010s end on a high note…

Team and culture

As everyone in HR knows, the people and the culture are what ‘makes or breaks’ an organization. AIHR is no different in that regard. Behind the courses, resources, and excellent learning experience is a team of highly competent and motivated young professionals and subject-matter experts.

That’s why I’m personally most excited about the growth of our team in 2019.

The AIHR team has tripled in size this year.
For us, this meant that employer branding, employee experience and embedding a culture of continuous innovation have been important themes in 2019. How’s that for practicing what we preach!

For you, this resulted in more valuable resources being created, new courses launched every month, and more personalized coaching and support to help you stay at the forefront of HR!

2.2 Million HR Professionals globally – And did you know that…

Powered by our amazing team, the entire company has actually grown more than 300% this year. And since we’re all about data and analytics, I’ve pulled up some cool numbers for 2019:

• 2,200,000 HR professionals visited our websites
• 194 free articles, videos, and resources published
• 224,400 hours spent reading free content
• 41,600 hours spent learning in our Academy

Helping HR professionals drive business value is what we do at AIHR. That’s why numbers like these, that illustrate the impact of everything we do, make us proud and keep us going!

Still, the skills gap keeps growing…

Despite the increased focus on upskilling and continuous learning, the overall skills-gap in HR remains huge and continues to grow. Digital transformation has become a top priority for almost every organization, which makes digital skills increasingly important.

Not surprisingly, in HR we’re also witnessing a growing appetite for digitalization. This makes the skills gap even more significant. Bridging this gap requires an entirely different skill set than the traditional HR one, and this is exactly why we are here. 

So how did we do on our promise in 2019?

To provide you with the latest HR know-how, training, and tools, you are counting on us to know what’s hot and happening in HR. We need to know where HR is heading and create courses that enable you to stay at the forefront of innovation in this field.

Today, our community has 4,500 active members. By 2025, this number will have grown to over 100,000 HR professionals.

Learning Management System (LMS) integration 

With the launch of our new LMS integration, we are able to connect with 99% of all enterprise LMS systems and offer a pay-per-use pricing model.

This month, the first batch of 8,000 corporate HR professionals will be getting access to all AIHR’s training programs within their organization’s own learning environment.

So, what’s next?

Our main focus for 2020 is to keep offering value by surprising you with insightful, and practical content that you won’t find anywhere else.

This means that we will double down on creating articles, videos, tools, and training courses that will enable you to keep up with everything that is happening in HR.

As a sneak preview I can tell you that we have already started working on:

• a course on Recruitment Analytics;
• a course that will enable you to become a specialist in Learning & Development;
• a new and revamped resource library;
• three new content-formats like the micro-learning bites – available for free.

In addition to the courses mentioned above, you can count on us to produce one new course every month throughout 2020. 

This is just a glimpse of how we plan to keep delivering on our promise to you in 2020.

2019 has been a truly amazing year here at AIHR! And 2020 is promising to be at least as exciting.
